Competence in process

The Clinical Operation Management (COM) is responsible for the coordination of a project within the SYNCARE group. The COM with its interconnecting function, between the individual operation units of the SYNCARE group, has the role of achieving optimum efficiency and ensuring that a smooth running process is maintained throughout the project. Together with the Sponsor company and the COM, a suitable project leader with specific know-how is selected to a given study. The COM ensures that communication with the Sponsor company is sufficient, organises project team meetings and discusses timelines and milestones with the individual team members. Any differences between planned and actual timelines, activities and study budgets are analysed by the project leader in close connection with the COM. Therefore, solutions are realistically developed and quickly solved before the study goal can be endangered. On request the project manager also controls the investigator payments and undertakes administrative management.
